Coat type: Beta’s coat is shiny and silky around his head, but the rest of him is much coarser.

Favourite things: chewing fabric, chewing ladders rungs, tugging my drawstrings, sniffing the other rats butts, lifting the other rats butts to sniff them, chewing the lower cage bars, chewing the bottom tray rug, whole body scritches.

Naughtiest stunts: See above. Beta is by far the most destructive rat. While Wulfman chews things outside the cage where we can simply bar him access to, Beta’s chewing is done in the cage requiring regular replacing and trimming of towels. He does it for enjoyment rather than a nesting instinct and this makes it all the more agitating! Luckily he hasn’t chewed the slide out tray (yet).
